Smitten

(Picture: Urvashi and Pururavas
                    - Raja Ravi Varma)

I close my eyes,
Revel anew-
Flutter my heart,
And all I see is you...

I held my breath,
Every ounce I drew-
Died and lived,
And all I felt was you...

I stared in void,
With nothing in view-
Grappled in trance,
And all I saw was you...

I drifted far,
In air that blew-
Searched the world,
And every face was you...

I set me free,
Then wanton flew-
Soared till heaven,
And all I found was you...

Now I'm smitten,
With recourses few-
'n tireless thoughts,
Why is it always you?

Babble
=======
1. Watching Rang Rasiya at midnight + post midnight raid into consciousness.
2. Writing this is scaring me. Step 1 - check.
3. Also inspired by Nandana Sen in Rang Rasiya... whatever that means.

Have you ever wailed?

(Picture: White Noise)

Seven seas you might have sailed...
But pray tell me-
Have you ever wailed?

And then at times you've often flailed...
But but but then-
Have you ever wailed?

There are times when you must have failed,
Exasperated and drawn but-
Have you ever wailed?

Whenever you feel you have been jailed,
All I'd ask is-
Have you ever wailed?

Many ills could have you ailed,
Writhing in pain but-
Have you ever wailed?

And when you think you cannot prevail-
Do you reckon you ought to wail?

Babble
========
1. Imagine wilderness. Imagine solitude in that wilderness. Imagine a man in the solitude of that wilderness. Now imagine silence and hear him wail without a sound.
2. If you can exactly imagine what I am talking about in (1) then yes... its THAT wail thats being talked about.
3. ...something like this - only more intense.
